Cerro Castor

Thought to be the world's most southerly ski area outside of Antarctica, not far from Ushuaia City. There is generally reliable natural snow cover from June through October.


The Argentinian ski resort of Cerro Castor is at an altitude of 195m, with 20km of marked runs.

Cerro Castor has direct access to 20km of downhill skiing, with 20 marked pistes, served by a total of 6 ski lifts.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.
