Mount Washington Overview

 Notable Ski Runs

The longest possible descent in Mount Washington is 4km long and the most difficult run is the 'Fletcher's Challenge'.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding has caught on at every ski hill in the world and that is doubly true at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort. The Canadian national average of skiers to snowboarders is 25% and Mt. Washington sits at an amazing 45%, meaning that almost every second snowplayer is a boarder. There is a widely held misconception that only young people snowboard but one look around Mt. Washington Resort will quickly dispel this theory. Snowboarding has become attractive to all ages and the reason for such an explosion of board lovers seems to lie in the amount of snow Mt. Washington Resort receives. With an average

snowfall of just over 30 feet the Resort doesn t even own snowmaking machinery and is one of the few ski

resorts in British Columbia that has been in full operation from its proposed opening day.
