Skiing
The Nakiska ski area spans over 1,200 acres with an elevation of 2,263 meters at the summit. Notable pistes include the blue runs on the upper mountain and the long groomed trails of the lower slopes, serviced by lifts such as the Gold Chair and the Silver Chair.
Nakiska offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Nakiska is Calgary International, 75 minutes drive away.
To reach Nakiska, the most convenient route is via Calgary International Airport, located approximately 1 hour away. From Calgary, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) and follow the signs to Kananaskis Country.

Usual opening is mid November (Preview week early opening), and usual closing is Late April.
