Skiing
Powderhorn boasts a peak elevation of 9,300 feet with a vertical drop of 1,650 feet. The resort features 1,600 acres of skiable terrain, including notable pistes like the Blue Sky and the Red Lady. The main lifts, the Express Lift and the Summit Lift, provide quick access to the mountain’s best spots.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Powderhorn is Minneapolis, 17 minutes drive away.
Gunnison-Crested Butte, Chippewa Valley and Montrose airports are all within three hours drive.
Gunnison-Crested Butte and Minneapolis are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Traveling to Powderhorn is convenient, with easy access from major airports like Grand Junction Regional Airport, approximately 45 minutes away. Take I-70 to US-50 for a scenic drive to the resort.
