How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ohau Snow Fields is Wanaka, 104 minutes drive away.

Timaru and Queenstown airports are all within three hours drive.


Ski Lift Capacity

The three ski lifts are able to uplift 700 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Ohau Snow Fields open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is Late June, and usual closing is Early October.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in Ohau Snow Fields, but they are likely to include most of the following :-
