Learn To Speak German And Get A Job Next Winter in St Anton with one Summer Course

Published : 25-Feb-2017 04:05

A new course offered by snowsports instructor company SnoworksGAP this summer offers participants the chance to learn German, pass ski instructor qualifications and (if successful at both) take up a job as a ski instructor in St Anton next winter 2017-18.

The course, which combines German language lessons with an Austrian ski instructor qualification takes place on the high altitude glacier of Hintertux in Austria for three weeks during the July and qualifies students at the first level of the Austrian ski instructor system known as the Antwärter.

Participating in the course, which is expected to run from July 4 to 25, 2017, costs £3,800 which includes 8 days' training with an Austrian Skiführer (highest level trainer), 10 days' Antwärter Austrian level 1 examination, half board accommodation in the four star hotel NeuHintertux for the duration of the course, lift pass for the duration of the course, return airport transfers from Munich airport and German language lessons. Once qualified, there's also the guaranteed job available with the Arlberg Ski School in St Anton.

The price does not include travel to and from Austria for the course or the subsequent job, nor insurance or lunches during the course.

"Summer in the Austrian Alps is a fantastic place to train and unlike many other GAP courses, you're qualified well before the winter starts and therefore waste no time before earning money in resort," commented Director of Snoworks GAP, Lee Townend, who added, "Our new German language lessons will help to get pupils up to the required standard needed to work in St Anton and this is an important aspect of the course."
