GB Park and Pipe skier Isabel (Izzy) Atkin (aged eighteen) has won the Ski Slopestyle World Cup in Corvatsch, St Moritz, Switzerland, the first time a British woman has won a Ski Slopestyle World Cup.
In what has been a unprecedented season for British skiers and snowboarders, particularly GB Park and Pipe, Atkin put in an unbeatable first run in great conditions in the Swiss resort, clocking an 88.40. This couldn't be bettered, meaning Atkin took the gold and Britain's first ever Ski Slopestyle World Cup win ahead of Emma Dahlstrom (Sweden) and Mathilde Gremaud (Switzerland).
Atkin said after the win: "I am absolutely stoked with how I skied today. The weather was perfect and the course was amazing. I couldn't be happier! I want to say a huge thanks to all the coaches, support staff, GB Park and Pipe and British Ski and Snowboard."
