After becoming the youngest ever skier to reach 50 world cup wins last week 23-year-old American racer Mikaela Shiffrin has achieved more records in the final World Cup race of 2018.
Shiffrin set two more records with her victory in the final race of the season at the weekend, a slalom at Semmering, Austria.
Firstly her 36th slalom win took her past the record of 35 wins held by Austria's Marlies Schild from Austria set in 2012.
"When I was young I wanted to be the best skier in the world. I was always watching Marlies, she was a legend. To me, she is the best slalom skier. I wouldn't be here without her. For me, she has this record for ever," said Shiffrin after her latest victory.
The Semmering win was also Shiffrin's 15th of 2018, which is also reported to be the most wins anyone has recorded in a single calendar year.
Earlier in the season Shiffrin became only the seventh person to secure victories in all five Alpine disciplines.
