New 6-Seater Chairlift for La Plagne

La Plagne celebrates its 60th birthday this winter with the introduction of a new enjoy a direct link between Plagne Centre (1990 m) and Champagny-en-Vanoise.
The brand new 6-seater La Lovatière chairlift will take skiers via the top of Les Verdons (2479 m) to access Champagny. It will take 5 ½ minutes and carry up to 3000 skiers and snowboarders per hour.
Other changes that visitors may notice is at the Funiplagne bottom lift station which has been upgraded to improve passenger flow and comfort.
La Plagne was founded in 1961 and has 225km of pistes. Their season begins on 11 December 2021 and ends on 30 April 2022.
