Snow Forecast Summary - January 8th 2009

Published : 09-Jan-2009 07:27

There's been little change since last week, as most of Europe has been sitting under a High Pressure system - keeping things generally cold and dry.

Weather and Snow Next Week

The serious cold of the last week will ease over the next few days, as temperatures adjust toward their seasonal average (it will still be fairly cold - it is January).

There's not much precipitation showing in the immediate forecasts, as the various models are trying to guess when the High will begin to move off. At present there looks to be a chance of some activity in the second half of the month but exactly when the weather will break remains to be seen.

On the bright side, it is going to be mostly clear and cool and the current snow pack should hold up well.
