Magenta Cottage is located in the heart of Tumbarumba surrounded by parkland and fields with cows. It is centrally located to the main street for shopping, eating and galleries.

Important Information

Please inform Magenta Cottage in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. A damage deposit of AUD 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there is a 1.84% charge when you pay with a credit card. Snow skiing Please note we are not near the snow fields. We are more then 3 hours to the closest snow fields on very dangerous roads during winter. We will ring and suggest staying at other accommodation closer to the snow fields if you intend to ski. BBQ A $50 cleaning fee will be charged for unclean BBQs. Guests can decide to clean the BBQ to avoid the charge. If the BBQ is not cleaned to a high standard the credit card will be charged $50. Cleaning products are located in the bathroom cupboard. Rubbish You must take any excess rubbish with you that does not fit in the provided bins when you leave. Large bins are located near the main house in the carport. All lights and heating must be turned off when leaving. Pets Your pet is most welcome. If you have your pet with you, it is expected that a few simple rules of courtesy are followed: - All pets must be approved before the stay - Any pet faeces, including outdoors, must be wrapped and placed in outside bins - Guest must supply pet bedding - Restrict pets to the hard floor areas - Do not allow pets on any furniture, including in or on beds - Pets are not to be left at the property without the owners - If in the event a mess was left by your pet, you will be charged for steam cleaning of carpets & furniture
