This 18th-century sandstone and timber-framed Palatinate farmhouse is nestled in the tranquil village of Kapellen-Drusweiler, with enchanting English-style, scented gardens brimming with hundreds of rose varieties. The Anglo-German owners offer three romantic rooms, each adorned with English flair and antique furnishings.
Each morning, guests can choose their individually prepared breakfast from our à la carte menu, featuring organic produce, homemade jams and freshly baked bread. We also offer a selection of indulgent breakfast specialities.
The terrace and gardens provide a charming setting for outdoor dining, whether it be a luxurious afternoon tea or just clotted cream and scones. Wine tastings with local winemakers can also be arranged.
The picturesque Rhineland-Pfalz countryside, dotted with historic castles and renowned vineyards, offers a network of hiking and cycling trails. Guests can take advantage of a variety of picnic options to enjoy along the way. Visits to the Südpfalz Thermal Baths in Bad Bergzabern, just 3 km or a 6-minute drive away, can be arranged. Recommendations for the region’s finest dining establishments, from charming local Weinstube to Michelin-starred restaurants, can be made on request.
Kapellen-Drusweiler Train Station is a convenient 7-minute walk from the property, while the A65 motorway can be reached in 15 minutes. Free off-road parking is available on-site.
