The romantic and unspoilt villages of Au and Schoppenau both access the Diedamskopf ski area. The lifts are included in the giant 3 Valleys Super Pass that covers most of Vorarlberg's smaller resorts. The picturesque archirctural Bregenzerwald style has been maintained.


The Austrian ski resort of Au is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 800m, with 37km of marked runs.

Au has direct access to 37km of downhill skiing, with 25 marked pistes, served by a total of 7 ski lifts.

With ski lifts as high as 2,060m, snow cover is generally reliable.


Au offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Au is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 58 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Innsbruck Airport, Zurich, Munich, Basel, Stuttgart and Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
