Forstau features the Fageralm ski area, with elevations reaching up to 1,850 meters. The slopes include the popular blue runs of Fageralm and the varied red pistes like the Trockenen Steg, all serviced by efficient lifts like the 6-seater Fageralm lift and the Hochfeldbahn.

By Air
The nearest airport to Forstau is Salzburg, 59 minutes drive away.
Klagenfurt, Linz, Ljubljana, Graz, Munich, Innsbruck Airport and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.
Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Accessing Forstau is straightforward, with the nearest major airport being Salzburg, located about 80 kilometers away. From there, travelers can take a scenic drive or utilize shuttle services that connect directly to the resort.
