 Summary

Nestled in the Pongau region, Goldegg features a compact ski area ideal for leisurely skiing and snowboarding. The resort boasts stunning mountain scenery and a warm, welcoming vibe for visitors.

The ski area of Goldegg is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 850m, with 10km of marked runs.

Goldegg is part of the Salzburger Sportwelt ski area with access to 760km of downhill skiing, with 144 marked pistes, served by a total of 270 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Goldegg itself (10km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Salzburger Sportwelt ski resorts of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Filzmoos, Flachau, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Goldegg's ski area reaches an elevation of 1,300 meters, offering around 30 kilometers of slopes. Key pistes include the family-friendly 'Wagrainer' and the well-equipped 'Gipfelbahn' lift, ensuring easy access to the mountain's best runs.

Goldegg offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Goldegg is Salzburg, 60 minutes drive away.

Linz, Munich, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Innsbruck Airport and Graz airports are all within three hours drive.

Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Goldegg, the nearest major airports are Salzburg and Innsbruck. From there, take the A10 motorway and follow signs to Goldegg, a scenic drive through stunning alpine landscapes.
