"It's a top resort"

Mayrhofen is a great resort at Christmas as it is snow sure. A lot of other resorts can be hit and miss early in the snowboard season.

The fun parks are always open in December which is not the case with other resorts.

It's only draw back is the transfer of you are not flying into Innsbruck.

"Austria at its best"

Love Mayrhofen & been many times. Love the people, atmosphere and cafes. Always good fun on the slopes and the new updated lifts work well. The Atmosphere in the bars is great & love the apres ski music played in the bars & restaurants on the slopes.

Review of Mayrhofen, Austria

"Perfect for all"

We have skied in Mayrhofen about 12 times now staying in the higher end hotels, guesthouses in town and in surrounding areas of Hippach and Ramsau.

Bus links are fantastic as is the train station to other parts of the ski area all within lift pass.

Snow canons are a god send, perfect for groups, couples and families of all abilities. Staff and locals are wonderful and the runs and area is fantastic.

We most recently even camped there to get longer to ski and the camping sites were awesome too - warm, heated pools, fantastic facilities. We even highlighted our trip including runs, restaurants and campsite on our YouTube channel, BigALontheLoose if anyone wants to have a deeper look into the area and facilities.

We LOVE it…. Hmm maybe we shouldn’t say this as we may not get booked in if people discover it!! 😬🤭
