Wettersteinbahn boasts a vertical drop of about 1,200 meters, with several ski areas including the Garmisch Classic and the Zugspitze Glacier. Notable pistes like the Olympic Run and the Kreuzeck run are complemented by efficient lifts such as the Kreuzeckbahn and the Hausbergbahn, providing easy access across the terrain.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Wettersteinbahn is Innsbruck Airport, 60 minutes drive away.

Memmingen, Munich, Friedrichshafen, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Bolzano, Salzburg and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Accessing Wettersteinbahn is straightforward, with Munich Airport being the nearest major gateway, located approximately 90 minutes away by car. Regular train services connect Garmisch-Partenkirchen to various cities, making it convenient for travelers.
