The ski area of Zürs is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,720m, with 110km of marked runs.

Summary

Zürs is part of the Arlberg ski area with access to 340km of downhill skiing, with 248 marked pistes, served by a total of 97 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Zürs itself (110km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Arlberg ski resorts of Lech, St. Anton am Arlberg, St Christoph am Arlberg and Stuben.

The ski resort itself is at 1,720m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,450m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Zürs is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 63 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Zurich, Bolzano, Basel, Stuttgart, Munich and Lugano airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
