The French ski resort of Morzine is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,000m, with 107km of marked runs.


Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area. In addition to the skiing in Morzine itself (107km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Portes du Soleil ski resorts of Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Saint Jean d'Aulps, Champoussin, Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins and Torgon.

With ski lifts as high as 2,460m, snow cover is generally reliable.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.


Morzine offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Morzine.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Morzine is Annecy, 75 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Chambery, Sion, Grenoble, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Berne and Turin Caselle airports are all within three hours drive.
