The ski area of Courmayeur is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,200m, with 50km of marked runs.

Summary

Courmayeur is part of the Aosta Valley ski area with access to 352km of downhill skiing, with 180 marked pistes, served by a total of 62 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Courmayeur itself (50km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Aosta Valley ski resorts of Breuil-Cervinia, Crévacol, Etroubles, Pila and Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses.

With ski lifts as high as 2,760m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Courmayeur is Geneva, 80 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Sion, Turin Caselle, Chambery, Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Bergamo, Turin Cuneo and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

Infrastructure

Ski Lift Capacity

The 21 ski lifts are able to uplift 8,400 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 15km of ski runs, with 280 snow cannons.

When is Courmayeur open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
