The ski area of Santa Caterina is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,740m, with 35km of marked runs.

Summary

Santa Caterina is part of the Alta Valtellina ski area with access to 184km of downhill skiing, with 112 marked pistes, served by a total of 62 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Santa Caterina itself (35km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Alta Valtellina ski resorts of Bormio and Livigno.

The ski resort itself is at 1,740m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,890m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Santa Caterina is Bari, 79 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport airport is also within three hours drive.

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
