Valle Isarco

The region of Valle Isarco comprises the ski slopes of 5 ski areas, including Brixen / Plose, Gitschberg - Jochtal and Ladurns.


Valle Isarco is within the Dolomiti Superski Ski Area, which boasts 1,420km of downhill pistes, with 668 marked ski runs, served by 488 ski lifts.

The ski area includes 5 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 15km of downhill skiing, with 58 marked pistes, served by a total of 4 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Brixen / Plose, Gitschberg - Jochtal, Ladurns, Racines / Ratschings and Sterzing - Vipiteno.

With ski lifts as high as 2,600m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.


Valle Isarco offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.


Valle Isarco offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Brixen / Plose, Gitschberg - Jochtal and Sterzing - Vipiteno.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Valle Isarco is Bolzano, 58 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Verona, Brescia, Munich, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Memmingen, Salzburg, Bergamo and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

COVID-19 / Coronavirus

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in Valle Isarco, but they are likely to include most of the following :-

  • Face masks required on lifts, and in shops.
  • Social distancing in public areas.
  • Reduced lift capacity.
  • Extensive disinfection / sanitization.
