Grindelwald is part of the Jungfrau Region ski area with access to 131 marked pistes, served by a total of 66 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Grindelwald itself (213km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Jungfrau Region ski resorts of Lauterbrunnen, Mürren and Wengen. Grindelwald is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Wengen.

With ski lifts as high as 2,950m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Grindelwald is Berne, 70 minutes drive away.

Zurich, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Geneva, Sion, Lugano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and Annecy airports are all within three hours drive.

Grindelwald is easily accessible via train from major cities like Zurich and Bern. The journey offers scenic views, making it a pleasant start to your ski holiday.

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid November (Open weekends only in November), and usual closing is Mid April (Last week of the season open weekends only).
