Snowy End to the Ski Season in Colorado

It's a very snowy end to the season in Colorado with most of the state's ski areas receiving around two feet (60cm) of fresh snow in the past 72 hours, Copper Mountain the most reported at 69cm.
Arapahoe Basin is pictured above this weekend.
The heavy snow may be seen as ironic by some given the very limited amount of snow the state received from November to February, with some reports saying it was the driest winter for at least 30 years.
Some ski areas being dumped on had already closed for the season and many of the rest including Keystone, Monarch, Telluride, Ski Cooper and Crested Butte will close later today.
However some will stay open later with Arapahoe Basin scheduled to stay open to June 3rd and Copper Mountain planning to run a summer terrain park.
Aspen, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Steamboat and Vail are open another week to the 15th.
Breckenridge, Eldora and Winter Park have a fortnight left to run to April 22nd and Loveland foiur weeks still up to May 6th.
