The Northern Snow Show returned to The Snow Centre Manchester on 03–04 October, bringing a weekend of skiing, snowboarding, equipment testing and winter sports activities to the North of England.
For its third year, the show was the biggest yet, with more than fifty snowsports and lifestyle brands on site and visitors able to test skis and snowboards on indoor snow slope.
The weekend also featured a programme of talks, coaching and freestyle sessions. Among the headline guests was British freeskiing star Kirsty Muir, who took part in a fireside Q&A and took a training session in the Jib Park.
Britain's most successful Alpine ski racer Dave Ryding was also at the show. In between stints on the Head stand, he also took out skiers for pre-booked coaching sessions on the snow.
The talk theatres also saw Q&A's with Olympian Jamie Nicholls, Paralympian Menna Fitzpatrick and presentations from Warren Smith from the eponymous Warren Smith Ski Academy and Iain Martin from The Ski Podcast.
The show was free to attend, with discounted lift passes and lessons available for visitors wanting to get on the snow themselves. A donation from all Premium Tickets sold went to Disability Snowsport UK and Protect Our Winters.
The Northern Snow Show is the UK's only consumer snowsports show held on real snow.
