New Chairlifts in The Jungfrau

New Chairlifts in The Jungfrau

Published : 29-Jul-2009 07:16

Switzerland's Jungfrau ski region, one of the world's oldest and most beautiful ski areas, has announced that three new chair lifts will go in to service next winter.

The largest new lifts, a six seater chairlift, is the Eigenordwand on the Arvengarten to Eigergletscher route above Grindelwald and Wengen and will go in to service from 12th December.

The other two lifts both open a week earlier on 5th December. The new Allmiboden double chairlift at Murren will be joined by the Winteregg quad chairlift which makes the ascent in half the time of the previous lift (in service from 5 December 2009).
