Skiing

Igls is part of the Patscherkofel ski area, featuring 18 kilometers of slopes with an elevation reaching 2,246 meters. Key lifts include the Patscherkofelbahn and the Glungezerbahn, while notable pistes like the Olympic Run provide a thrilling descent.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders can enjoy the terrain park at the nearby Stubai Glacier, offering various features and jumps. Igls itself is more suited for traditional skiing but provides excellent off-piste opportunities.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Igls is Innsbruck Airport, 10 minutes drive away.

Bolzano, Salzburg, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Munich, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen and Verona airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Igls is easily accessible via Innsbruck Airport, located about 20 minutes away by car or public transport. Alternatively, the resort is reachable by train or bus from major cities in Austria.

Ski Lift Capacity

The seven ski lifts are able to uplift 1,600 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 14km of ski runs, with 18 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Igls open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December (Open weekends from mid-November to early December), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
