A genuine rural resort combining the multitude of farms and chalets scattered around the St Nicolas church tower and the small fortified town of Flumet.


The French ski resort of Flumet is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,000m.

Flumet is part of the Espace Diamant ski area with access to 185km of downhill skiing, with 226 marked pistes, served by a total of 136 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Flumet itself (50 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Espace Diamant ski resorts of Crest Voland Cohennoz, Les Saisies, Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Praz sur Arly.

With ski lifts as high as 2,070m, snow cover is generally reliable.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Flumet is Chambery, 55 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Grenoble, Geneva, Sion, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron, Turin Caselle, Saint-Étienne and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

Annecy and Chambery are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
