La Toussuire

The ski area of La Toussuire is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,800m, with 45km of marked runs.

Summary

La Toussuire is part of the Les Sybelles ski area with access to 240km of downhill skiing, with 136 marked pistes, served by a total of 67 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in La Toussuire itself (45km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Les Sybelles ski resorts of Albiez Montrond, Le Corbier, Les Bottières, St Colomban des Villards, St Jean d'Arves and St Sorlin d'Arves.

The ski resort itself is at 1,800m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,620m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Toussuire is Chambery, 60 minutes drive away.

Grenoble, Annecy, Geneva, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron, Turin Caselle, Turin Cuneo and Saint-Étienne airports are all within three hours drive.

Chambery is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
