The Corviglia Ski Area above St Moritz is easy to access from Celerina, 2km away and 50m lower than its famous, louder and more expensive neighbour. Some of the village houses are painted in traditional designs.


The Swiss ski resort of Celerina is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,730m, with 61km of marked runs.

Celerina has direct access to 61km of downhill skiing, served by a total of 55 ski lifts.

The ski resort itself is at 1,730m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 3,300m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Celerina is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 135 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Lugano, Friedrichshafen, Bolzano and Zurich airports are all within three hours drive.


Ski Lift Capacity

The 55 ski lifts are able to uplift 11,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 5km of ski runs, with 20 snow cannons.
