Skiing

El Tarter is one of Grandvalira’s sectors, giving quick access to Grandvalira’s extensive piste network of over 200 km. The sector’s base lifts — including the El Tarter gondola — rise to upper slopes and connect skiers to neighboring Soldeu and on to the higher ridgelines. Terrain ranges from gentle nursery and long blue cruisers ideal for intermediates, to red runs that feed into the central Grandvalira area. The sector also provides access routes for higher-altitude skiing toward the core of Grandvalira. Lift infrastructure is concentrated around the main gondola and several chairlifts that shuttle skiers to the sector’s main alpine pistes.
