Snow and Weather

Snow reliability is strongest on the higher slopes and in colder periods; lower, tree-lined runs are more liable to thaw in warm spells. Snow depth and coverage vary seasonally — for the most recent snowfall, piste status and snow depths consult J2Ski before travel. Higher elevations in the area typically retain snow longer into the season than valley-bottom slopes.

When will it snow in Pal-Arinsal?

The next notable snow forecast is 6cm, expected on 11 February, with around 48cm forecast over the next 7 days.

Skiing

The resort comprises two linked sectors: Pal (the more sheltered, family-oriented side reached from La Massana) and Arinsal (which opens onto steeper, more open terrain). The lift network concentrates on giving quick access from the valley to tree-lined lower pistes and higher open runs; a gondola from La Massana is the principal valley access. Terrain varies from beginner nursery slopes and long cruisers to more challenging reds and off-piste options beyond the marked runs. The compact nature of the area makes traverses between Pal and Arinsal straightforward, and the higher slopes offer the most consistent winter conditions within the domain.

Pal-Arinsal offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.
