The region of Harz comprises the ski slopes of Hahnenklee, Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.


The ski area includes 3 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 17km of downhill skiing, with 13 marked pistes, served by a total of 9 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Hahnenklee, Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.


Harz offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Harz is Hannover, 81 minutes drive away.

Leipzig, Paderborn, Dortmund and Hof-Plauen airports are all within three hours drive.
