The Harz ski resort features a variety of runs suitable for all skill levels, surrounded by picturesque nature. Its small size does not compromise the quality of skiing and snowboarding available throughout the season.

The ski area of Harz comprises the ski slopes of Hahnenklee, Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.

The ski area includes 3 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 13 marked pistes, served by a total of 9 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Hahnenklee, Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Skiing

The Harz mountains boast several ski areas, including Wurmberg, the highest peak at 971 meters. Notable pistes include the Wurmberg slope, and the resort features lifts like the Wurmberg Gondola, providing access to a total of 12 kilometers of ski runs.

Harz offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Harz is Düsseldorf, 50 minutes drive away.

Köln Bonn, Hannover, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Paderborn, Frankfurt-Hahn, Dortmund and Hof-Plauen airports are all within three hours drive.

Düsseldorf and Köln Bonn are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Accessing Harz ski resort is convenient, with major airports like Hannover and Leipzig within a reasonable distance. From these airports, car rentals or public transport options are available for a smooth journey to the resort.
