A year-round multi-sports and relaxation centre, Ovronnaz has a children's lift in the village and a ski centre on the outskirts. Jorasse has two chairs and six drag lifts.


The Swiss ski resort of Ovronnaz is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,350m, with 25km of marked runs.

Ovronnaz has direct access to 25km of downhill skiing, with 11 marked pistes, served by a total of 7 ski lifts.

With ski lifts as high as 2,500m, snow cover is generally reliable.


Ovronnaz offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.


Ovronnaz offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Ovronnaz.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ovronnaz is Sion, 30 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Basel, Chambery, Turin Caselle, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and Zurich airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.


Ski Lift Capacity

The seven ski lifts are able to uplift 8,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 15km of ski runs, with 3 snow cannons.

When is Ovronnaz open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in Ovronnaz, but they are likely to include most of the following :-
